Id = “1127807″> Apple has already stolen multitouch the interface of the iPhone for the MacBook Air and the new MacBooks, but they have not yet been borrowed that other scroll” Function “, known here as” kinetic sliding. ” If you want to steal for your own Mac, but jkOnTheRun has just the thing : a tip about Smart Ga X , a program that allows you to use your mouse for a number of kinetic scrolling in a Mac App you want. We have actually Posted on Smart Ga vór , but the video is a pretty good demonstration of what's happening here. I am not quite sure this is something that Apple will want to deploy in the operating system, however - it feels right enough about the iPhone, but I kind of like that my scroll wheel stops when I tell it. If you prefer, the iPhone experience in your usual Mac, but it's app available as a free trial , or a complete License $ 19. [ Nathan M ]

iphone.jpg Cell phone makers such as LG, Moto and Nokia are obviously laboring harder than ever about what we think about their phones (usually not happy thoughts!). But what? Even with this renewed “concerns” they have been unable to obtain. Here's a few of their ridiculous, out-of-touch ideas about how we would like from a panel at MWC : < blockquote> One panelist suggested that the mobile phone makers drilling consumers' neural networks', while another said that they must understand their needs subliminal. WTF?

I actually know what a neural network. But WTF has to do with creating a phone that was not crappy? This is all BS-word business, and talk and think, as that is the reason why makers made shitty, unintuitive phones. They must make a telephone with the question of how real people using mobile phones in mind.

This “changed world” where “there is more interest in what other consumers say what the company says” is not a bad thing, but the article implies that the manner in which the handset makers feel. And as long as they feel that way, they will keep trying to push crap people in the bags. [ NYT ]

Id = “1128316″> If you are looking for your iPhone jailbreak and the most recent iNdependence beta is not for you, you might be interested in trying out the latest version of ZiPhone . ZiPhone 2.5, which is now available to all users (not just financial donors, who were expected to open the app a little earlier than the rest of us) is compatible with the latest firmware 1.1.4 iPhone. Zibri recommends restoring the phone to 1.1.4, update, because potential conflicts within the application cache. The first e-mails that we have received from users has been positive, but, as always, on jailbreak your own risk. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

iLounge says they have received an inside look at the IPhone SDK and came up with some interesting details, one of the limitation imposed on the developers that they not can use the dock connector to interface with accessories. That means that no third party GPS connector (or other similar devices). What supposedly will be accessible is the camera, Wi-Fi, and the “telephone”, which is a little more tolerant than we thought Apple would be.

As with iTunes, it seems that the iTunes Music Store will be a “hub” for application downloads. If you are a developer and want to charge for your app, you have a method to do that through the store. This, assuming that Apple has approved your app, because they are going to “act as a gatekeeper for all applications”, which means that if you make something risque or hack-ish, you run the risk must be rejected. Id = “1128140″> One more reason why we can not wait for the iPhone SDK fall. GameSetWatch has a brief interview with developer Steve D Demiforce about his new iPhone game Trism . It is a gem, as Bejeweled-matching puzzle game, but the twist is that after get found, the most beautiful valleys in the direction that the iPhone the accelerometer tells them. It's wild stuff, and you can see clearly in the video. He is playing the game on a jailbroken iPhone, but it is still a work in progress, so the game is not available to the public yet. Depending on the terms of the iPhone SDK, he is looking for porting and that the release distribution system through which Apple is using. And he cooked this thing in about ten days (he wanted to rush it to show that off at GDC last week), so if Apple is able to include smaller developers like Steve in their SDK setup, we see some great software from the line in no time at all.

While everyone and their second cousin third removed had something to say about Apple's ultra-sexy, ultra-hamstrung MacBook Air, we've a sneaking suspicion that folks previously eager about this week's MacBook Pro updates will be equally vocal. For whatever reason, Cupertino faithful had February 26th pegged on their calender, and while the addition of a Penryn or two was nearly a given, the dreamers in the crowd had much higher hopes for that fateful Tuesday.

Nevertheless, the time came and went, and the re-opening of the online Apple store brought a whole heap of disappointment to many. Sure, folks still (somehow) enamored with the aging MBP design were thrilled to have access to a more potent, less scalding iteration of their favorite machine, but honestly, we're still using the GeForce 8600M GT? Really, Apple? Needless to say, this refresh likely did little to satisfy your desire for a revamped MacBook Pro, but we're interested in finding out exactly what it is you really wanted. An option for an SSD? What about a built-in Blu-ray drive? Would integrated HDMI make things more appealing? Or is a top-down case redesign the only thing stopping you from abusing your credit card in the name of Steve Jobs? Go on, we know you folks are chock full of good ideas, so let's hear 'em, shall we?
